We are excit­ed to an­nounce that we have teamed up with our friends at Adu­ki, pub­lish­ers of the Aus­tralian Veg Food Guide, to pre­sent the big­ger and bet­ter than ev­er 2010 Aus­tralian Ve­g­an Food Awards.

We want to recog­nise and award the best ve­g­an food op­tions in Aus­tralia and to do this we’re go­ing right to the best source of knowl­edge on this mat­ter – you, the com­pas­sio­nate con­sumer.

Whether it’s the tas­ty sei­tan steaks you keep go­ing back for, or the de­ca­dent oreo cher­ry ice­cream cake you tell all your friends about, we want to share your ve­g­an eat­ing re­c­om­men­da­tions with com­pas­sio­nate eaters around Aus­tralia.

Vote for your favou­rite foods and places to eat and not on­ly will you be help­ing spread the word about great ve­g­an food, you’ll be in the run­n­ing to win a range of prizes, in­clud­ing $50 vouch­ers to spend at a veg­gie res­tau­rant of your choice. Vot­ing is open un­til Septem­ber 20th, 2010 and the win­n­ers will be pub­lished in ‘The Aus­tralian Veg Food guide’ as well as an­­­nounced at World Ve­g­an Day, Oc­­­to­ber 31st, 2010
